Quote Tool
The TetherX Quote Tool helps integrators generate instant cloud backup quotes for customer proposals, showing real-time pricing and data requirements.
Tip: Access the Quote Tool from the left sidebar under Help → Quote Tool, or directly at my.timeline.is/help/integrators/integrator_quote_tool.
Using the Quote Tool
Configure the same options as Cloud Backup Setup: storage duration, recording type, resolution, storage location, and optional features (ANPR, Calipsa, DeepAlert).
Plan Summary
The right sidebar shows real-time calculations:
- Monthly price per camera (excl. VAT)
- Subscription code for easy reference
- Upload amount (GB/month) - data transferred to cloud
- Upload speed (Mbit/s) - minimum bandwidth required
- Storage used (GB) - cloud storage footprint
Use these figures to verify the customer's Internet connection can support the proposed configuration.
Creating Customer Proposals
- Configure the quote tool with the customer's requirements
- Note the monthly price and data requirements
- Include these in your proposal alongside:
- TetherBox hardware costs
- Installation and configuration
- Ongoing support and maintenance
Tip: Start conservatively with event-only recording and shorter retention. Customers can upgrade later as needs become clearer.
